BLOCKCHAIN EXPLAINED FOR THE REST OF US
We're Tony and John, Brothers who wanted to understand blockchain without all the noise.
We created That Blockchain Site because we kept seeing signs that blockchain could change the way we own things, move value, conduct business and interact online.
But the more we tried to understand it, the more we realized how difficult it was to find explanations written for ordinary people.
So we started doing the homework.
We're not financial advisors, and nothing on this site should be considered financial, investment, legal or tax advice. We share information, ideas and opportunities that we find interesting, but they reflect our own opinions and experiences. We encourage you to do your own research, ask questions and make your own decisions.

From Learning to Participating
You've seen some of what blockchain can do. So what does participating in this new economy actually look like?
There are a lot of possibilities, but two areas have captured much of our attention.
OWN THE INFRASTRUCTURE
Some blockchain networks rely on independently owned and operated infrastructure to help validate transactions, store information or provide other services to the network. In some models, participants may receive rewards for providing those resources.
HELP BUILD THE BUSINESS
Blockchain isn't just about technology. Companies are using it to build products, services and entirely new business models. Some create opportunities for people to participate in bringing those products and services to market, sometimes with compensation or other rewards tied to that participation.
Which one sounds more interesting to you?
Or maybe you're not sure yet. That's okay too.
We're looking at projects in both areas, and we're happy to share what has caught our attention, why we're looking at it, and the questions we're asking.
Let's Keep the Conversation Going.
Whether you have a question, want to learn more about something you've seen here, or want to hear about what we're watching, we'd love to hear from you.
